GREENVILLE - The Coastal Carolina men's golf team shot a 5-over 293 in the first round of the Furman Intercollegiate to stand in a two-way tie for eighth in the 21-team field, played at the 6,994-yard, par 72 Furman University Golf Course.
Chanticleer junior Sebastian Soderberg is currently tied for second, shooting a 4-under 68 Friday and standing two shots behind leader Sepp Straka (Georgia).
