MURRELLS INLET - Coastal Carolina senior Sebastian Soderberg shot a career-low, 5-under par 67 Tuesday and the 48th-ranked Chanticleers shot the low round of the day, 287, en route to a 54-hole score of 892 and fourth-place finish at the annual General Hackler Championship, played at the par-72, 6,950-yard TPC of Myrtle Beach.

The 67 by Soderberg also tied for the fourth-lowest round ever shot in the 12-year history. He moved from 20th place after two rounds to finish tied for fifth, his third top five this season and the ninth of his career, and finished just three strokes off the lead. Soderberg, who shot 73-78 on Monday, finished with a 2-over par 218.

For the first time in tournament history, there were both co-champions for the team and individual titles as travel plans would not allow for a playoff. Arkansas and Kent State tied for the team lead with a 54-hole score of 873. The 17th-ranked Razorbacks, leaders after 36 holes, shot 291 Tuesday while #23 Kent State carded a 289 in the final round. Tennessee, ranked 29th, finished third (289-300-291=880).

Individually, Kent State's Taylor Pendrith shot a 3-under par 69 to move from fifth in to a tie for first, while Tennessee's Oliver Goss, who started the day in second, carded a 72 as each posted a 54-hole score of 1-under par 215.

Soderberg started the day with a birdie on the par-4 first hole. After bogeys on holes 3 and 4, he got back to even par with a birdie on the par 3 5th hole and reeled off four pars for an even-par 36 at the turn. Soderberg had a bogey-free back nine, starting with birdies on holes 10 and 11. After a par on 12, he birdied holes 13 and 14 before just missing a third-straight birdie on the par 4 15th hole. He capped his record round with a birdie on the 18th hole.

Andrew Dorn moved from 11th into a tie for eighth with his 3-over, 54-hole score of 219 (73-75-71). For the sophomore, the eighth-place finish marked the best of his career. Dorn was even par through 16 holes, posting 12 pars, two birdies and two bogeys. He suffered a bogey on the signature par-3 17th hole but rallied to eagle the par 5 18th - the first eagle of his collegiate career.

Roberto Ballesteros finished 24th with a 54-hole score of 227 (70-78-79). Ben Wheeler trimmed six shot off his scores from rounds one and two to shoot a 1-over 73 Tuesday. The sophomore tied for 34th with a score of 231 (79-79-73). Peter Valasekalso shaved six strokes off his round two score, shooting 76 in the final round. He shot 241 (83-82-76) to tie for 52nd.

Playing as individuals, Kevin Vanden Heuvel and Easton Renwick each posted top 25 finishes. Vanden Heuvel finished a career-best 20th and had a career-best 9-over par 225 (72-77-76). Renwick, who won the Charleston Shootout the previous week) tied for 25th and his 228 (78-75-75) marks the sophomore's third-best, 54-hole score.

Coastal will travel to Tallahasse, Fla., this weekend (March 15-17) to play in Florida State's Seminole Invitational.
