John Hayt Collegiate Results and Scoring

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - Winds gusting into the low 30-miles per hour range led to tough scoring conditions and Coastal Carolina dropped three spots into a tie for ninth after the second round of the John Hayt Invitational, played at Sawgrass Country Club.

The Chants fired a one-under 287 on Sunday but could only manage a +22 round of 310 on Monday. The wind had its effect on the entire field. Day one co-leader Auburn went from 282 to 295 and remained first with a 36-hole total of 577. TCU, the other co-leader, dropped into a tie for fifth, posting a team round of 304 on Monday.

Individually for the Coastal, Sebastian Soderberg fired a 76 on Monday and stands in a tie for 20th with a 36-hole total of 147. Soderberg recorded the team's only eagle, posting a three on the par-five 11th. Tripp McAllister, Roberto Ballesteros and Steve Delmar each carded a round of 78 on Tuesday. McAllister and Ballesteros are tied for 29th and 33rd, respectively, with two-day scores of 148 and 149, while Delmar is tied for 53rd (75-78=153). Drew Ernst shot an 83 in Monday and is tied for 74th.
