Prior to Coastal Carolina: (At Montana Tech): Posted a 74.5 career scoring average and was a two-time All-Frontier Conference selection ... Between his freshman and sophomore seasons, was tied for the lead at the Montana State Men's Amateur after rounds of 70-69, but he called a penalty on himself which led to a disqualification after nine holes on the third day ... (High School): Was a two-time first team All-State honoree, finishing fifth in the 2007 (junior year) Montana Class AA state championship and seventh in 2008 (senior year) ... Named the Butte High "Outstanding Boy Golfer" for 2007 and 2008 ... Played his first two years of high school at Faith Lutheran in Las Vegas ... Also competed on FCWT (Future Collegian's World Tour) and the AJGA (American Junior Golf Association) events as well as several major junior amateur tournaments ... In 2007-2008, won five tournaments and set his career scoring record, a 63 during the Montana Junior Championship ... Qualified for the Montana Alberta Cup and Montana Junior Americas Cup after placing third at the 2008 state junior amateur ...
