Prior to Coastal Carolina: On the Swedish Junior National team that won the European Men's Team Championship in Madrid, Spain, in 2009 ... In fact, Widegren won the deciding match in the tournament ... Finished tied for 31st at the 2013 Scandinavia Junior Boys Open, shooting 74-73-82 ... Qualified to play in the 2012 R&A Boys Amateur Championship and he won the Galvin Green Junior Open, shooting 71-73, on the Junior Masters Invitational tour ... In addition to his golf talent, Widegren is a standout hockey player and tennis player ... Named the "Ballboy of the Year" at the 2007 and 2010 ATP's Stockholm Open ...
