Bryan Lewis is in his second season as the golf strength and conditioning coach at Coastal Carolina, coming to the Chanticleers from the University of Florida. In addition to working with the men's golf team, Lewis assists with the strength and conditioning of the men's basketball and football teams.
Lewis is a certified Level II TPI Golf Fitness Instructor, making Coastal Carolina one of, if not the only, school with a strength coach and head coach TPI certified.
While with the Gators, Lewis worked as an assistant strangth and conditioning coach under Matt Herring. He was in charge the men's and women's golf and tennis teams' strength and conditioning programs, while assisting with the men's basketball program.
In addition to being a certified TPI Fitness instructor, Lewis is also a Certified Strengh and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a United States Weight Lifting (USAW) sports performance certified coach.
A native of Port St. John, Fla., Lewis received his bachelors in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida in May of 2008, while adding a Masters in Human Performance in December 2009.
