Fall 2010 (Jr.): Played all four Coastal Carolina fall events ... Posted a fall scoring average of 74.25 ... Had two top-20 finishes, including a tie for 19th at the Windon (+2, 219) and a 14th-place finish (-1, 215) at the Gary Koch ... Fired rounds of 69 at both the Windon and Koch.

Summer of 2010: Prior to his junior season, Ernst became the first Chanticleer to win the South Carolina Amateur ... Owned a one-stroke lead after the first day at the 2010 South Carolina Amateur Championship, played at Columbia Country Club, firing a 10-under (68-64) with his 64 being a career low ... Birdied the first playoff hole on day two to win the 52nd annual South Carolina Golf Association Amateur Championship ... Ernst, who shot 71 in the final round, finished regulation play tied with a 10-under par 203 ... Won with a 10-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole, the par four 18th.

2009-10 (So.): Was in the lineup for all 12 tournaments for the Chanticleers, averaging 74.47 strokes in 36 rounds played... Had nine rounds of par or better, including rounds of 68 once and a 69 twice ... Opened the season as Coastal's top player at the Golfweek Conference Challenge, tying for fifth at 2-under 214, including a 1-under 69 in the second round ...
