NEW YORK CITY - Coastal Carolina senior Niccolo Mastromatteo is currently in New York City for the 56th Annual National Football Foundation Awards ceremonies as one of 12 National Scholar-Athletes of the Year and finalist for the Campbell Trophy.

He will be recognized in a press conference today along with the other National Scholar-Athletes of the Year at 11:05 am (ET). Each of the 16 will receive an $18,000 postgraduate scholarship. The press conference will be on ESPN3 and can be viewed live here: http://es.pn/18fmynI.

Later tonight the NFF will announce the winner of the William V. Campbell Trophy as part of the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Awards Dinner. The Campbell Trophy is given to the college football player - from all levels and divisions - with the best combination of academics, community service and on-field performance.
