Head Coach Joe Moglia

Did you hear any part of Coach Steve Spurrier's news conference yesterday and that he admires you?
"No I did not, but that is terrific. I admire him too. His resume speaks for himself. I think he is one of the best offensive signal callers in the game. I have always had a lot of respect for him. He has done a great job wherever he has ever gone."

He suggested you guys can go all of the way. What do you think about that??
"We appreciate that. I think we have to get past him first. We will worry about going all of the way after we get past him and we find out who we are playing in the playoffs."

How big of deal is this game to you?
"I think as far as the players go and for the University goes, it's South Carolina. They are an elite BCS program. They are nationally ranked. They are an outstanding football team. They are good in all phases of the game and they are very well coached. They are loaded with talent. It's a big game for our guys, we know that. It's a big game for the University. We are excited because it's a big game."

Can you win the game?
"Yes, I think we can win the game. In order for us to win, we can't have turnovers, we can't have stupid penalties. We have to make sure they work for the scores they will wind up getting. The team has to be sound and come up with a big plays. In addition, they will have to have some inopportune penalties for them and give up a big play to us. If all of those things happen, then we will have a shot in the fourth quarter."

Have you noticed, some of these guys may have wanted to go to a big school like South Carolina, do they have an extra chip on their shoulder for the game this week? Maybe to show `Hey you overlooked me, this is my chance to shine against South Carolina?
"I think that is very fair. I think the typical guy at Coastal Carolina if you ask them if they had the opportunity to go to South Carolina they probably would have taken advantage of that. I think there might very well be a little bit of that. If this grabs our guys a little big, that's fine. In the end it's a matter of focusing during the week so you understand your assignment, you know how to execute and you know what you have to do on Saturday and giving it your best shot."

What is the minimum that would satisfy you coming out of this game?
"If I can look in the mirror and I can examine my own conscience and I believe deep in my heart that we were well prepared, we executed our way and play to the best of our ability then whatever happens I can live with. That's the minimum."

Senior receiver DeMario Bennett

How does it feel, you started there and now you're going to be playing against them. Talk to us about that experience and how long you have been looking forward to that experience?
"I really wasn't thinking about it. Of course it will be exciting to go back but, as far as playing, I am just going to go out and play to the best of my ability."

Senior right guard Jamey Cheatwood

How difficult is the timing of this game. You guys are most likely in the playoffs and that's waiting for you but you have to play this game first.
"I am sure this game is going to be just as difficult as the other ones. I mean it's a football game; it's going to be physical. So whether this game was at the beginning of the season or the end of the season it doesn't matter."

Do you expect to win?
"I expect to win. To clear the air, I am not going up there to make memories or get a moral victory. I am going up there to win a game."

Junior linebacker Quinn Backus

Are you going into this game with nothing to lose? You guys are expected to lose. You're going in there and no one expects anything out of you guys.
"It's a big game, but part of the reason it is a big game is because Coastal Carolina is playing. We just have to approach it like we do any other game and focus on what we have to do."
