CHARLOTTE, N.C. Coastal Carolina University football sophomore Josh Hoke (Statesville, N.C./West Iredell) was named Big South Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, Nov. 8, the league office announced. This is the third time this season he has been honored, as he was named to the award Sept. 27 and Oct. 11.

He currently leads all kickers and ranks second in the Big South Conference in scoring with 63 points and has hit on 8-of-11 field goal attempts and 39-of-40 point after attempts in 2004.
The Chanticleers (8-1, 3-0 Big South) continue a three-game homestand to wrap up the 2004 regular season, hosting the Pioneer Football League's Jacksonville Dolphins, Sat., Nov. 13. Kickoff at Brooks Stadium is set for 12:30 p.m.
