CONWAY - With each of the nation's top six team winning this past weekend, the top of the FCS football polls remained the same with Coastal Carolina holding down the third spot in the FCS Coaches Poll and the six spot in The Sports Network Poll.
Also in the national rankings, CCU Nov. 9 opponent Charleston Southern is ranked in both polls for the first time this season, coming in a 18th by the coaches and 24th by the national media, while earlier CCU foes South Carolina State and Eastern Kentucky are both receiving votes.
In addition to welcoming first-year program Charlotte to Brooks Stadium, Coastal Carolina will be welcoming back its alumni for Homecoming and, prior to the game, the Department of Athletics will induct Ashleigh Gunning (women's soccer), Patrick Hall (football), Chasity Johnson (track & field) and Jack Leasure (men's basketball) into its Sasser Hall of Fame. The Hall of Famers will also be recognized at halftime.
Kickoff for Saturday's game is set for 3 pm and the contest will be televised on WFXB (Myrtle Beach), WOLO (Columbia) and WCCB (Charlotte).
Tickets for Coastal's final two regular season home games (Nov. 2 versus Charlotte and Nov. 16 versus Presbyterian) are still available. Single-game tickets are $20 for Bronze and $15 for Blitz. Youth tickets (18 and under) are $10 for both sections. Groups (20 or more people) can purchase tickets for $15 or $10 per person depending on location.
