CONWAY - The culmination of Coastal Carolina's Homecoming week will have the Chanticleers hosting Liberty on Saturday at 3:30 pm as scheduled. With the possibility of the outer bands of Hurricane Sandy passing through the region on Saturday afternoon, a few changes have been made to the normal gameday routines.
However, the opening of parking lots and ticket booths remain on schedule. Donor and restricted lots open at 10:30 am. The North and South Ticket Booths at Brooks Stadium open at 11:30 am. Gates to Brooks Stadium open at 2 pm.
With wind being a concern, several tents, including Player Will Call for both teams, and portions of Fan Fest could be affected.
- Coastal Carolina's Player Will Call will be moved to the North Ticket Booth (between Gates 1 and 2).
- Liberty Player Will Call will be moved to the South Ticket Booth (to the left of Gate 3).
Chanticleer Fan Fest, at its new location adjacent to the Williams-Brice indoor pool, will be available on a limited basis, weather permitting.
Two events will proceed as usual, but they will take place indoors. First, ESPN "The Team's" Pregame Tailgate Radio Show will be inside the Brooks Stadium Press Box. The Alumni Tailgate will be inside Kimbel Arena. (For further information on the Alumni activities, follow them on twitter @CoastalAlumni.)
As a reminder and for the safety of all fans, umbrellas are not permitted in Brooks Stadium. Fans can refer to the CCU Football Fan Guide for further policies and procedures.
If any further changes to the schedule are made, announcements will be made on GoCCUSports.com and various social media outlets, including twitter (@GoCCUSports) and following Chauncey on Facebook.
