On the hype surrounding the Liberty game:
Pat Williams: Facing Liberty is a huge game. Last year we had some turnovers and it didn't go the way we wanted it to go. We've had a good week of practice and we're ready.

Quinn Backus: It will be a hard fought game. We're looking forward to it and getting revenge from last year.

On what this rivalry means:
Pat Williams: It's a rivalry based on respect and it goes through all the sports: basketball, baseball, soccer. Whenever we play, Liberty it's a big game. This is the one we want.

On practicing after getting a win:
Pat Williams: The win was a confidence booster for the whole team. We're prepared to play a good team this week.

On Liberty's offensive efficiency:
Quinn Backus: The offense shows a lot of different formations and the quarterback is efficient at throwing the ball. We have to stick to the fundamentals and trust our keys to be successful.

Head Coach Joe Moglia on Liberty:
The losses Liberty had early in the season were against pretty good opponents. The wins they've had in the past three weeks were impressive. Offensively, they have an effective running attack with two backs and their freshman quarterback's statistics are outstanding. From a defensive perspective, they have good, tall athletes up front. The secondary and linebackers are solid, but up front they have very good athletes. Their special teams have had some kicks blocked. We might be able to take advantage of that. Overall they are a good football team.

I'm aware of the rivalry that exists between Coastal and Liberty, and I'm glad that we're hosting them for Homecoming. Hopefully we get a good crowd, hopefully we get a lot of support and hopefully they will be ready to go. I know our team is ready to go.
