CONWAY - After a record-setting performance at Elon, Coastal Carolina's offensive line - Chad Hamilton (LT), Jamey Cheatwood (LG), Kevin Hart (C), Mo Ashley (RG) and Drew Herring (RT) - has been named the Big South Choice Hotels Offensive Player of the Week.

Head coach Joe Moglia and Matt Hogue will discuss the honor and review the Elon victory from this past weekend at the weekly Chanticleer Call-In, held each Monday from 6-7 pm at Buffalo Wild Wings in Carolina Forest. The public is welcome to interact with Coach Moglia and participate in the show at the restaurant. For those unable to attend, the show is broadcast live locally on The Team 100.3 FM as well as online as part of the Chanticleer Sports Network. Questions may be phoned in at 843-652-3776, submitted via email at askthecoacch@coastal.edu or tweeted @Chants365 by using the hashtag #ccucallin.

The unit helped the Chanticleers roll up a school-record 652 yards of offense (355 rushing, 297 passing) and average 7.5 yards per play in CCU's 53-28 win at Elon. The 652 yards of total offense is the third-highest offensive output against an FCS opponent in Big South history and the 10th-best single-game total in the NCAA FCS this season.

The line paved the way for running back Lorenzo Taliaferro, who rushed for 205 yards and three scores, and did not allow a sack as quarterback Alex Ross amassed 382 yards of offense (297 passing and 85 rushing) while accounting for four touchdowns. Also, De'Angelo Henderson gained 34 yards - averaging 5.7 per carry - with a touchdown as CCU has had at least four rushing TDs in each of the last four games.

Coastal scored on eight of its 14 possessions at Elon and surpassed 50 points, 300 rushing yards and 500 offensive yards for the third consecutive game.

This marks just the first time in Big South history and offensive line has been honored by the leagueand just the second time a group has been named the Big South Offensive Player of the Week and both have involved the Chanticleers. In the second week of the 2005 season, The entire CCU offense was named Big South Offensive Player of the Week after upsetting then #1 James Madison, 31-27. NOTE: A group has been tabbed Big South Defensive Player of the Week on four occasions, including CCU's Defense after a 70-3 victory over Charleston Southern in 2010. Others include Charleston Southern's defense in 2005, Liberty's defense in 2009 and Stony Brook's defense in 2012.

The offensive line has helped Coastal to the following rankings in the NCAA FCS and Big South this season.
• 2nd in FCS, 1st in Big South in 3rd down conversions (56.1 percent)
• 3rd in FCS, 1st in Big South in first downs (133)
