CONWAY - Coastal Carolina senior Tarvorris Jolly has been named Big South Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his 94-yard touchdown in the Chanticleers' 34-14 win over Delaware State.

With Delaware State attempting a chip-shot field goal, junior Josh Norman came off the left edge to record his third career blocked kick. Jolly scooped the ball on the six, broke one tackle and found sprinted to the endzone for his first career touchdown.

The score put Coastal Carolina up 28-0 midway through the second quarter and nearly helped the Chanticleers pitch a shutout before Delaware State scored twice inside the final two minutes.

This marks the first weekly honor for Jolly and the first by a Chanticleer this season.

Coastal Carolina will return to action this Saturday (Oct. 2), hitting the road to face nationally-ranked Richmond. Kickoff in the new Robins Stadium is set for 1:00 pm.
