Coach David Bennett (opening statement)
"Going into (the Georgia) game, we said all along, that would be the best team we've ever faced in our short history of a program here, and it was. They were huge, and they were fast. We give thanks for three things that happened, though. We always try to find the positive. The positive is, we stayed pretty healthy. The other positive is we got a nice paycheck for the school. The third positive is it was a humbling lesson."

Coach David Bennett (on N.C. A&T )
"We can get ready for a competition within our level as go play a much improved North Carolina A&T football team. If you look at the glory days of North Carolina A&T football, from 1990-2003, they averaged about eight wins a season. They went to the national playoffs five times within that 14-year span. That's what North Carolina A&T wants to get back to, to the glory days, and they are making a huge commitment to get that program going in the right direction, and by hiring Coach Broadway, they did a great job."

Coach David Bennett (on offense)
"I think our offense has something to prove this week, and get things back going. We had a pretty good game, offensively, the first game of the season. First half wasn't bad in game two. However, we have not scored in three halves ."

Coach David Bennett (on the upcoming game):
"North Carolina A&T is back home off of a loss with an open date. They've had two weeks to get ready for Coastal Carolina. We're licking our wounds, coming off of the Georgia game. So I think it will be a heck of a ball game Saturday afternoon. We're going to North Carolina A&T, we need to go get a win. I promise you, they' are going to try to do everything in their power to win, as well."

Coach David Bennett (on Quinn Backus)
"Quinn Backuswas the Big South Freshman of the (Week) who had (six) tackles and he was in on only 14 plays. Quinn's going to be a good one for us. He was a heck of a player in the Shrine Bowl. I think he was finalist for South Carolina Mr. Football."

Bryan Brooks (on recovering from the loss and looking forward to upcoming game)
"We knew Georgia was a good team. We knew we were going to have to go in there and play our best game, eliminate all (missed assignments) and play the best to our abilities to have a chance to stay with them. Unfortunately, we did have a lot of errors in this game, but that's what this week's practice is about. We're focusing on eliminating MA's, just trying to get our team better and get ready for our next few games, one game at a time. We look forward to North Carolina A&T this week, and we look forward to playing the best game of the season so far."

Bryan Brooks (on preparing for the N.C. A&T game)
"They do have a great team, they have a new coaching staff, their defense is really good. Last time we played them, it was a really good game. They always play us really close, so we've got to be ready and prepare like it is another Georgia week. They have good DL, good linebackers, and as far as I know, they have good secondary as well. We've just got to get ready and bring our best game. They have had two weeks to prepare for us, so they're obviously studying us up hard. We're both coming off of big losses, and we're both going to be hungry for a win."

Chad McField (on the feelings after losing to Georgia)
"We knew that they were going to be good, we just knew that we couldn't have all those mistakes, but that is something that we did have. We weren't real happy with ourselves coming back (to Conway), but we just have to get rid of that. That's in the past; we've just got to look forward now, because we got another team."

Chad McField (on N.C. A&T team)
"A&T has always been a good team. They've got a new coaching staff, and they've put time and money into their program. We know that they are getting better, but Coach (Jamel) Smith is doing a good job with us right now, working on getting pressure on the quarterback, just keeping us active on the DL. We look forward to a good competition this weekend."
