Sept. 19, 2013
CONWAY - Coastal Carolina's final two regular-season football games - hosting Presbyterian College on Nov. 16 and playing at South Carolina Nov. 23 - will both have 1 pm start times.
The Coastal Carolina-Presbyterian contest, which will be the Chanticleers' final home game of the regular season, will still be broadcast on ESPN3. Also that day, the Coastal Carolina Department of Athletics will honor the 2013 football senior class as well as welcome any local youth group to Brooks Stadium. (Group leaders should contact the CCU Athletics Ticket Office to inquire about obtaining tickets.)
Coastal Carolina made the decision to move up the football game time with Presbyterian to better accommodate a Chanticleer doubleheader with men's basketball that day. Coastal will host Southeastern Conference foe Ole Miss at 7 pm in The HTC Center.
The start time for Coastal Carolina's football game at South Carolina Nov. 23 was posted on the Gamecocks' website this week, indicating the 1 pm start at Williams-Brice Stadium. The game will be telecast on a pay-per-view basis.
Also on Nov. 23, the Coastal Carolina men's basketball team will host games as part of the 2013 EA SPORTS Maui on the Mainland Invitational on Nov. 23. The Chanticleers will host St. Francis (N.Y.) on that Saturday at 4 pm with Oakland-Louisiana set for approximately 6:30 pm.
