CONWAY - In anticipation of the Coastal Carolina football team's season opener on September 1, the first "Chanticleer Call-In" show with head coach Joe Moglia will take place tonight (Monday, Aug. 27).
The show will be held each week from 6-7 pm at Buffalo Wild Wings at Carolina Forest and will be hosted by Matt Hogue. Dates for the show with Coach Moglia are Aug. 27; Sept. 3, 10, 17 and 24; Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 28 and Nov. 5 and 12.
Fans are encouraged to come to the restaurant and take advantage of the opportunity to interact with Coach Moglia. Fans can additionally participate in the show by emailing their questions to askthecoach@coastal.edu or calling the show toll free at 866-866-6562. The show will also be broadcast locally on ESPN "The Team" 100.3 FM and on www.GoCCUSports.com via the Chanticleer Sports Network.
"We are excited for this partnership," Associate AD for External Relations Mark Payne said. "We hope our fans will be thrilled about being in a sports-related atmosphere. Last year's show with head basketball coach Cliff Ellis was successful and we expect that excitement will carry over to football this year."
