Football Puts In Two Practices on Thursday

CONWAY, S.C. -- Coastal Carolina held its second two-a-day session of the week on Thursday, Aug. 16. In the evening's practice, the Chanticleers worked on position and special teams drills before concluding the practice with seven-on-seven and 11-on-11 situations.

"We're still trying to get the offense a little bit more consistent on third-down situations," Head Coach David Bennett said. "The defense did a little better job than offense did again tonight. You know, that's the thing about when you scrimmage against each other like that. You don't know what your defense can do to your offense or not and where they need to be. We'll find out soon."

Friday's practice has been moved to 9:00 a.m. Practice was originally scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
