CONWAY, S.C. -- Coastal Carolina's football squad returned to the practice field on Sunday night for week two of preseason camp. After last week's heat, the Chanticleers worked out in significantly cooler conditions as the temperature was in the low-80's. The team ran drills at the beginning of practice followed by seven-on-seven skeletons as well as 11-on-11 drills.
"The offense is good at knowing and picking up reads," Head Coach David Bennett said. "However, they are not delivering or catching the ball. Their timing and execution for the seven-on-seven is fine, but we got to keep on and execute in the 11-on-11 situation. It was a good day other than the execution by the offense in the 11-on-11. We need to bring it all together from groups to individuals to the team."
Coastal returns to the practice field on Monday with practice scheduled from 3-5 p.m.
