Football Camp Day 4: Chants Go Through First Morning Practice

The Coastal Carolina University football team went through day four of the 2006 training camp this morning (August 4) with a two-hour practice in helmets and upper pads.    While it was a morning practice, the heat continued to be the story in the Conway area.  The Chants trimmed off a half-hour of practice and once again had plenty of water breaks.   The Chants opened with position drills, then again moved into the offensive and defensive units in preparation for the Sept. 2 season opener against Elon.  Coastal worked on special teams for the second straight day, as punting, punt returning and field-goal formations were worked on toward the end of practice.   NOTE:  Due to the heat in the Conway area, the Chants are moving Saturday's practice to 8:30 a.m.
