The Coastal Carolina Department of Athletics and Papa John's Pizza will kick-off its new, three-year partnership by offering a free, large pizza to anyone who orders or renews their football season tickets for the 2011 football season from July 15-22.
Football season tickets may be ordered or renewed by contacting the CCU Department of Athletics Ticket Office by visiting the CCU Athletics Ticket Office online or calling the Athletics Ticket Office at 1-877-4-CHANTS or locally at 843-347-TIXX. The offer is only good per season ticket account, not per seat in the order. Also, vouchers can only be redeemed at participating Papa John's and are for one-topping pizzas.
"We are fortunate to partner with a trusted brand like Papa John's Pizza," said Mark Payne, CCU Associate Athletics Director for External Relations. "Papa John's is making the commitment both financially and with regard to heightening the relationship as a community partner to improve the fan experience."
Coastal Carolina, the reigning Big South champion, will have five home football games in 2011, hosting Furman (Sept. 3), Catawba (Sept. 10), VMI (Oct. 8), Gardner-Webb (Oct. 22) and Presbyterian (Nov. 5).
"We are excited to be the `Official Pizza' of Coastal Carolina Athletics," said Cindy Hopkins, CEO of Lottsa Cheese, Inc. "Coastal Carolina has a top-notch athletic department and are proud to be associated with them. We are looking forward to providing special offers to Coastal Carolina students and to loyal fans of this great University."
