CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina Department of Athletics would like to remind all fans that 2011 Chanticleer football seasons tickets are currently on sale and deadline to renew your same seats from the past is June 10, 2011.
The ticket office has taken orders for the 2011 season and fans are encouraged to respond as soon as possible to ensure getting your preferred seats. Please call the Chanticleer Athletics Ticket Office at 1-877-4-CHANTS for more information on purchasing season tickets.
Renewal forms and the Chanticleer Athletic Foundation (CAF) brochures have been mailed out detailing the new ticket packages for 2011. The forms are also available at the to pof this release.
Several changes have been made to seating sections inside Brooks Stadium to help ensure the 2011 season will be even more enjoyable. The first big change is the expansion of our non-donation seating options at Brooks Stadium. Last year we introduced a $99 Family Zone that allowed families to enjoy an entire season of Chants’ football at one low price. This year we have expanded the non-donation area to include three sections on the west side of the stadium called the Blitz Zone (sections 126, 127, 128). Fans can purchase season tickets for just $75 without a donation in this newly created zone.
In addition, the Reserved Section was renamed the Bronze Zone and will encompass sections 101-108 on the east side of the stadium. The Preferred Section has also been changed to the Teal Zone and will consist of sections 202-207, which is also located on the east side of the stadium.
The Family Zone Section has moved from the north endzone to the west stands and will makeup sections 130 and 131. Consequently, the Chantourage Section (the student section) will now encompass the entire north stands. In addition, the new Young Alumni Section will consist of section 125 on the west side of the stadium.
“There is no better time than right now to get your season tickets,” Coastal Carolina head coach David Bennett said. “We’re very excited about the 2011 season and having the first two games at Brooks Stadium on Benton Field. Our players, cheerleaders, band and students are getting ready. Are you willing to bleed teal?”
There will not be a per seat donation cost attached to each season ticket this year. The CAF now requires a one-time annual donation to reserve priority seats and parking in football, basketball and baseball. Please review the attached 2011-12 donation level chart and determine the appropriate donation level for your ticket purchase. Please note that priority ticket orders will not be processed until your CAF donation has been completed.
The Chanticleers will begin their defense of the 2010 Big South Championship on Sept. 9 when Coastal hosts Furman from Brooks Stadium. Coastal Carolina has designated Oct. 22 against Gardner-Webb as Homecoming and Nov. 5 against Presbyterian as Senior Day, Family Weekend and Hall of Fame Weekend.
