Teal-Black Spring Game On Tap Saturday; Season Ticket Information

CONWAY - Coastal Carolina football, under the direction of reigning Big South Coach of the Year Joe Moglia, will conclude its 2013 spring season on Saturday with the annual Teal-Black Spring Game at Brooks Stadium. The game is slated to get underway at 1:30 p.m. at Brooks Stadium. The event is free to the public.
In addition to the action inside Brooks Stadium, the Coastal Carolina Letterwinners Association will hold the second-annual Teal Chicken-Pig Pickin' BBQ Festival and Cook-off in the stadium parking lot. Fans will be able to taste the contestant's culinary delights starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday. General public tickets for the Teal Chicken-Pig Pickin' BBQ Festival and Cook-off are $12, while Coastal Carolina student and children 12 and under are $5.
2013 Season Ticket Information
Coastal will open the 2013 season playing three of its first five games on the road, including the season opener at South Carolina State on Aug. 31. The Chanticleers home opener and first game on their new sideline will be Sept. 7 versus intrastate rival Furman and CCU will host Hampton on Sept. 21 as part of Family Weekend.
Over a six-week span Coastal will play four home games, hosting Gardner-Webb (Oct. 12) to start its defense of the Big South Championship, VMI (Oct. 26), Charlotte (Nov. 2 for Homecoming) and Presbyterian (Nov. 16).
As a reminder to fans, Coastal Carolina has reconfigured Brooks Stadium seating for the 2013 season in conjunction with the team relocating its bench to the west side of the facility. See below for 2013 Brooks Stadium seating diagram.
The Bronze seating, which has bench back seating throughout, will expand to two sections on the west side as Sections 127 and 128 behind the CCU bench will have bench backs installed for the 2013 season. On the east side, the Bronze seating includes Sections 103-106 as well as the chair back seats in Sections 202, 203, 206 and 207.
The Teal seating will now include only Sections 204 and 205 on the east side and remains premium seating as those chair back seats are located at the midfield viewing area between the 30 yard lines.
The CCU Band (Section 124) and the Chantourage (south end zone) will remain in the same locations as last year.
The Family Zone moves back to Sections 129-131 on the west side. Inflatables will continue to be located behind the Family Zone and cheerleaders will be located directly in front of the Family Zone.
Other new sections include the CCU Player Guests (now Section 126), the Visiting Team (now Sections 101-102) and the Blitz Zones (now Sections 107, 108, 125).

Season ticket orders and Chanticleer Athletic Foundation (CAF) donations are required by July 12, 2013 to be included in the select-a-seat. The select-a-seat will occur July 22-26 and selection order will be based on CAF priority points. Fans that are unable to attend the select-a-seat will be able to use a proxy or provide their seat request to the Athletics Ticket Office the week of July 15-19. Representatives will be on site in Brooks Stadium the week of July 15-19 to walk fans through the new seating options.
