Schedule for April 14 - Spring Spirit Weekend

CONWAY - In order for fans to get the maximum enjoyment at the events in and around the annual Spring Football Game, the Coastal Carolina Department of Athletics has prepared a detailed list of what fans can expect on Saturday, April 14. The annual spring game will be played at Brooks Stadium at 1 p.m. and admission is free.
APRIL 14 SPRING SPIRIT WEEKEND SCHEUDLE
9:00 a.m. Men's and Women' Track & Field hosts the Chanticleer Classic (admission is Free)
10:00 a.m. Men's Tennis vs. UNC Asheville (admission is Free)
11:00 a.m. Teal Chicken Pig Pickin' BBQ Festival and Cook-Off opens to public (To sample the BBQ - $10 for Adults, $5 for youth 12 and under)
11:30 a.m. Football Alumni Tent opens (Next to Adkins Field House)
11:45 a.m. Coca Cola Refresh Crew is set up with video game trailer and inflatable games
Noon Gates open at Brooks Stadium Men's and Women' Track & Field (Senior Day recognition)
12:55 p.m. Head Coach Joe Moglia speaks about the day and introduces coaches and their families
1:00 p.m. Spring Game Begins CCU Softball vs. Liberty (Game 1 of DH)
2:00 p.m. Women's Tennis vs. UNC Asheville (Senior Day recognition - admission is Free) Women's Soccer Alumni Match (admission is Free)
Post-game Meet and greet with the football coaches and autograph session with the football team
3:00 p.m. CCU Softball vs. Liberty (Game 2 of DH)
3:30 p.m. CCU Baseball vs. VMI
4:00 p.m. Men's Soccer Alumni Match (admission is Free)
Parking lots will open at 11 a.m. for fans. The parking area in RED on the PDF document (attached) will be reserved to accommodate the baseball game as well as the Teal Chicken Pig Pickin' BBQ Festival and Cook-Off competition. Due to the high volume of parking expected for the baseball game, football spring game, softball games, tennis matches, track & field meet, and the men's and women's soccer alumni games, additional spectator parking will be available throughout Coastal Carolina's campus at no charge.
STADIUM AND SEATING
Gates at Brooks Stadium will open at Noon. Fans will be able to enter Brooks Stadium only through the gates located on the east side (side closest to Watson Stadium). Once inside, seating will be general admission.
Before, during and after the spring game Chanticleer fans are invited to partake in various events and festivities. The day starts off with the Teal Chicken Pig Pickin' BBQ Festival and Cook-Off at 11 a.m. Fans will also be able to enjoy entertainment provided by the Coca-Cola Refresh Crew that includes a video game trailer and interactive inflatables outside of Brooks Stadium. Aramark will be on hand to provide refreshments inside Brooks Stadium. The CCU Bookstore will also have its Brooks Stadium location open for fans to purchase Chanticleer gear! Chanticleer Athletics Ticket Office representatives will be on hand to answer any questions regarding tickets for the upcoming 2012 season as well as offering several enter-to-win chances for Coastal Carolina prizes.
SPRING GAME SCORING
A scoring model has yet to be determined for the spring game.
Following the spring game, there will be an autograph session featuring the coaches and football student-athletes underneath the east stands of Brooks Stadium. The Coastal softball team will begin game two of its doubleheader with rival Liberty at 3 p.m. (Game one is set for 1 p.m.) The Coastal baseball team will also be in action on Saturday as they host VMI starting at 3:30 p.m. Tickets for the baseball game can be purchased in advance or at Watson Stadium starting at 2 p.m.
