Head Coach Joe Moglia Talks About Spring Practice
Coastal Carolina has had three spring practices and took this week off due to the University's spring break. Head coach Joe Moglia addressed the media during the off week to discuss spring practices. The annual spring game will be April 8 (Saturday) and the start time will be released later.
Head coach Joe Moglia:
"The first objective is, you don't want to get anyone injured. A lot of teams like to hit in spring practices, but we won't do that. We will be physical. The second objective is to determine how a player can get better. Older players may not get as many reps, but they will focus on specific things to make them a better player. Younger guys will get a lot of reps because that is what they need.
"As a far as the offense goes, [new offensive coordinator] Jamey Chadwell will incorporate some of the things we did well in the passing attack while bringing in the things he was successful with in the running game."
