2011 ALL-CONFERENCE CANDIDATE ... Ranks seventh on the CCU all-time tackles list with 170
2010 (Jr.): After leading the team in tackles as a sophomore, ranked second on the squad with 80 (ninth-best on the CCU single-season list) as a junior ... Also ranked 10th in the Big South in stops (6.67) ... Included in that total was 6.0 tackles for loss, helping CCU lead the Big South and rank 16th nationally in the category ... Opened the season with eight tackles at West Virginia .. Added nine stops versus Delaware State and 10 the following week at then #111 Richmond ... Came up big in the Gardner-Webb win, getting a team-high 13 tackles, including two TFL and 1.5 sacks with a forced fumble ... Backed that with a nine-tackle performance in a win at VMI ... Closed the year by getting eight tackles versus Western Illinois in the NCAA FCS playoff.
2009 (So.): Played in all 11 games, starting nine ... Tabbed second team All-Big South ... Led the Chants in tackles (60), while ranking 17th in the league (5.45 avg.) ... Was 12th among linebackers in tackles ... Posted 16 tackles at Towson, the second-best individual performance in the Big South for the season and second-highest single-game total in Coastal Carolina history ... Had 28 tackles in Big South action, including a high of eight with 1.5 tackles for loss in the home victory over Gardner-Webb ... Also had seven tackles in the home win over VMI ... Had five tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss and his first interception in the win over Presbyterian ... Posted six tackles at Clemson.
2008 (Fr.): Played all 12 games for the Chants, starting against North Carolina Central and at Gardner-Webb, to garner his first collegiate letter ... Had 10 solo and 28 total tackles on the year, including 1.5 tackles for loss ... Had a career-best game in the win over North Carolina Central, posting a team-high 11 tackles ... Had four tackles at VMI and three at North Carolina A&T ... Recorded a solo tackle for loss at Penn State in the season opener.
2007 (Fr.): Redshirted his true freshman season.
Prior to Coastal Carolina: Selected to play in the GACA North-South All-Star Game ... A three-year starter and four-year letterwinner for the Tigers, recording more than 300 tackles in his career ... Two-time Douglas County Defensive Player of the Year while also serving as captain his final two seasons ... Had 151 tackles his senior year after recording 140 as a junior ... Also played fullback for the Tigers his first three seasons.
