2016 (Jr.): Played at stared 10 games … Named the CCU Transition Committee all-conference team … Ranked second on the team with 66 tackles and led the team in tackles twice (Bryant and Hampton) …. Overall, had 45 tackles, including six on special teams to rank third-best on the team ... Had five tackles on kick coverage and one on punt coverage at Monmouth -- the only return a CCU opponent attempted in 2015 for no gain .... Also ranked third on the team with 5.0 tackles for loss ... Recorded three tackles for loss in a four-game span, including two sacks (Presbyterian and Gardner-Webb).

Led the Big Red to a 9-0 record and a 29-26 win over Phillips Exeter in the NEPSAC Jack Etter Bowl, thanks to a half sack from Johnson.
