2012 Preseason All-Big South ... In just two seasons, Hazel ranks third on the CCU career TD receptions list with 11 ... Also ranks seventh on the CCU career receiving yards list (764) and eighth on the CCU career receptions list (52).

2011 (So.): Named second team All-Big South ... Ranked third (second-best total) in the conference with six touchdown receptions, which is also fifth (tied) on the CCU single-season list ... Battled injuries, going two games without a catch but still ranked eighth in the Big South in receiving yards per game (44.4) and 10th in receptions per game (2.9) ... Averaged an impressive 15.2 yards per receptions, led Coastal in both receptions (32, seventh-tied on the CCU single-season list) and yards (488, sixth on the CCU single-season list) ... Prior to the injury and over a four-game span, had three games with six catches, including North Carolina A&T (92 yards and 2 TDs), Liberty (90 yards and TD) and Gardner-Webb (65 yards) ... Also threw a 21-yard touchdown pass versus Gardner-Webb ... Showed signs of getting back to full speed at season's end, catching four passes for 28 yards and a TD in the Charleston Southern win ... Had with two catches for 69 yards, including a career-long 59-yard TD in the win at Western Carolina.

2010 (Fr.): Missed the season opener at West Virginia due to illness, but played in the final 11 games, starting three of the final four ... Finished the season with 20 catches for 276 yards with five touchdowns ... His five TDs were fourth-best in the Big South and ranks seventh on the CCU single-season list ... In a win over Liberty, was named Big South Freshman of the Week as he tied a school record, previously set by Jerome Simpson in 2005, by catching three touchdown passes in a game - one shy of the Big South single-game record ... Finished the game with four receptions for 41 yards ... All four of his catches were significant as the three TD catches came on third down and his other catch was an 11-yarder giving Coastal a first down ... Had a breakout game versus Georgia Southern, hauling in four passes for 49 yards ... Only caught two passes at Presbyterian but one was a 26-yarder for his first career score ... Was a key target in the Western Illinois NCAA FCS playoff game, catching six passes for 66 yards --both season highs.

Prior to Coastal Carolina: Named to the 2009 Shrine Bowl squad representing South Carolina ... Also selected to the High School Sports Report's Statewide Offense All-State team after recording 75 catches, 1,193 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior while leading North Augusta to the second round of the playoffs ... Finalist for Aiken Standard High School Offensive Player of the Year.
