Rushed 17 times for 174 yards - 10.2 yards per carry - and three touchdowns in helping Coastal Carolina defeat then #25 Eastern Kentucky, who entered the contest ranked third in the nation in run defense. Of Taliaferro's 17 attempts, eight went for either a first down or touchdown and five were 10-plus yards. After opening the game with a 13-yard run, he broke a 45-yard run for a touchdown to give CCU a 7-0 lead. On CCU's second drive, Taliaferro gave CCU a 14-0 lead, scoring from five yards out. Late in the second half, he converted a key third-and-one before capping the drive with an 11-yard score for a 31-24 lead at halftime. Taliaferro finished the first half with 11 carries for 114 yards and scored three of the Chants' four touchdowns. His last major contribution came midway through the third quarter as he gashed the Colonel defense for a 44-yard gain on a third-and-14 from the CCU 18. Coastal would go on to score and take a 38-24 lead.

Rushed 24 times for 144 yards (6.0 yards per rush) and scored three touchdowns versus Gardner-Webb. It marks the third time in the last four games he has scored three times in a game and he has scored 11 times over his last four contests. Also, he tied a Big South single-season record by rushing for three touchdowns in three straight games. Seven of his rushes went for either a CCU TD or first down and one of his four receptions was good for a first down. He had 13 rushes of five yards or more, including his final rush of the game - a 31-yard gain.

In addition, Taliaferro was CollegeFootballPerformanceAwards.com (CFPA) National Running Back Performer of the Week for his performance in the double-overtime win at Liberty. He rushed for 151 yards and tied the Big South single-game record with four rushing touchdowns in Coastal Carolina's 55-52 double-overtime win at Liberty. He averaged 5.8 yards per carry and finished the game with 175 all-purpose yards versus a Liberty defense that was ranked 27th in the NCAA FCS in rush defense (126.0 ypg) coming into the contest. Taliaferro amassed 100 rushing yards in the second half and overtime, with three scores to help the Chants erase two 19-point deficits. He accounted for either a first down or touchdown on seven of his 11 touches in the second half and his seven-yard rush in the second overtime put Coastal well into field goal range.

Rushed 24 times for 139 yards and three touchdowns in Coastal's 50-25 victory over Charlotte. He extended his Big South record for most 3-TD games in a season to five, and matched the Big South single-season record for rushing touchdowns with 21. Taliaferro gave CCU a 7-0 lead in the first quarter with runs of 10, 8, 7 and the final 5-yarder for the TD. He later capped a 72-yard drive with a 3-yard score with 1:30 left in the second quarter to give the Chants a 12-point lead at halftime. On Coastal's final drive of the third quarter which extended into the fourth, Taliaferro's 4-yard run put the game out of reach. He had runs of 5, 10, 16, 15, 10 and the final 4-yarder during the drive.

Rushed 16 times for 132 yards and two touchdowns in Coastal's victory over Presbyterian College. He had no negative rushing yards and averaged 8.6 yards per carry in playing just the first half. Half of his rushes went for either a first down or touchdown and he gained 90 yards on his first seven attempts. Taliaferro's two TD runs were from three yards and one yard and the scores broke two more Big South records, as he is now the single-season leader for points (144) and overall touchdowns (24). earlier this season he broke the Big South single-season mark for rushing TDs, now with 23.
