2005: Started in nine of the 11 games he played... Named First Team All-Big South and finished third in the league's Defensive Player of the Year voting... Led the team with a career-high and CCU single-season record 108 tackles, including 31 solo during the 2005 season, ranking him fourth in the league... Posted a then career-best 14 tackles and one fumble recovery in the season-opening win at Elon, earning Big South Defensive Player of the Week honors... Surpassed that with a school-record tying 15 in the home win over James Madison for his second consecutive weekly league honor and also was named The Sports Network National Defensive Player of the Week... Also tied his career best with 15 tackles in conference play against Gardner-Webb and Liberty, earning his third Defensive Player of the Week honor after the GWU contest... Had 8.5 tackles for loss for 19 yards... Posted first collegiate sack at South Carolina State, finishing the game with a pair and also forced two fumbles and recorded six tackles... 2004: Played in nine games with six starts... Still finished with 52 tackles, good for second on the team... Also had two interceptions and one tackle for loss... Had a career-high 13 tackles at Newberry... Also recorded nine tackles, four of them solo, and one interception return for 36 yards in the home win over Charleston Southern to secure the Big South Championship... Recorded nine tackles against Jacksonville and seven against Savannah State...

2003: Started all 11 games at linebacker for Coastal as one of the anchors on the second best defense in the league... Ranked second on the team and seventh in the Big South with 88 total tackles (56 solo, 32 assisted)... Had five games with 10 or more tackles, including a career-best 13 tackles and a fumble recovery against Gardner-Webb... Forced fumbles against conference foes Liberty and Charleston Southern, recording 10 tackles against each... One of Coastal's 2002 recruits...

High School: Played on both sides of the football for the Warriors, earning All-Conference and All-Region honors as a senior... In his final year, he recorded 100 tackles, 10 sacks, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble on defense and added over 500 yards rushing, 328 yards receiving and seven touchdowns... As a junior, posted over 600 yards rushing and 400 yards receiving with four touchdowns... Was a member of the A/B Honor Roll and Young American Society... Earned the school's U.S. Army Scholar-Athlete Award...
