2012 (Jr.): Started all 13 games ... Ranked sixth on the team with 53 tackles and tied for the team lead with three forced fumbles ... Was the team's Defensive MVP for the Presbyterian and Bethune-Cookman contests and a game captain for the VIM game ... Named National co-Defensive Player of the Week by CollegeFootballPerformance.com in leading the CCU defense in a playoff win at Bethune-Cookman ... Only had four tackles, but had two forced fumbles, a half sack and a 68-yard interception return for a TD ... The 68 yard INT return ranks as the second-longest in CCU history ... Also, made a key play on special teams, recovering a Bethune-Cookman on-side kick and Coastal ran out the clock to seal the CCU victory ... 2010 (RFr.): Saw action in 10 games, serving on the special teams and backing up all-conference pick Dominique Davenport at safety ... Had nine tackles, including a three-yard TFL at West Virginia ... Turned in a season-best three tackles versus Delaware State, getting two stops each at West Virginia and Gardner-Webb.

Prior to Coastal Carolina: Played defensive back and quarterback at Woodmont ... Led the Wildcats to an 8-4 mark and the second round of the playoffs his final season, earning a spot on the All-County Team from the Greenville Touchdown Club ... As a senior passed for more than 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns, ran for 10 scores, caught three touchdown passes and added 31 tackles, seven interceptions and 11 pass breakups defensively ... Ran 4.3 in the 40-yard dash at the Tusculum combine ... As a junior was a first team All-Region tight end ... Also experienced at kick and punt returns ... Ran track during his high school career for Woodmont, earning Second Team All-Region in the 4x100-meter relay ... Named to the Honor Roll both senior semesters.
