2015 (RFr.): Played in seven games and had 24 rushes for 118 yards, an average of 4.9 yards per carry … Made five tackles – four solo – on kick coverage to tie for fourth-best on the team … Tallied 14 carries for 48 yards in the win over South Carolina State … Added 10 carries for 70 yards, including a 58-yard gain, in the win over Alabama A&M … Recorded two of his five tackles versus Gardner-Webb and was named the team’s Special Teams Player of the Week for his effort.

2014 (Fr.): Redshirted ... Named Chant Squad Offensive MVP (Charleston Southern).

Prior to Coastal Carolina: Selected to play in the 77th annual Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas ... Named the Two Rivers 3A Conference Offensive Player of the Year ... Set Cleveland High School standards for career records with 5,451 career rushing yards (three seasons), 81 touchdowns and 31 wins ... Led the Rams to the semifinals as he rushed for 1,837 yards on 302 carries with 31 touchdowns, adding eight two-point conversions ... Ran for 404 yards, one of the top 15 single-game efforts in North Carolina High School Athletic Association history, and scored five touchdowns in a game against Southern Wayne ... Also had rushing games of 263 and 247 yards as a senior ... As a junior, ran for 2,185 yards - 17th-best total in the state - on 225 attempts with 28 touchdowns ... As a sophomore, Martin rushed for almost 1,200 yards and helped carry the Rams to the state semifinals in the team's first year as a varsity program.
