2005: Played all 11 games as CCU's kicker... A First Team All-Big South and Division I-AA Athletic Directors All-Academic honoree at kicker for the second consecutive year, as well as Third Team All-Southeast Region from Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette... Also selected as ESPN The Magazine First Team Academic All-American, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, the first ever for the Coastal football program... Tied for the conference lead with 80 points... Was perfect 38-for-38 on point-after-attempts and was 14-for-22 on field goals... Was named National Weekly Football Gazette National Special Teams Player of the Week twice... Earned Big South Special Teams Player of the Week four times during the season... Hit the 45-yard field goal with no time remaining and then connected on the game-winning field goal in overtime against Gardner-Webb, garnering both the national and league's weekly award... Had an impressive game against Delaware State where he set the school record with a 49-yard field goal, also earning national and league honors for his efforts that week... Also earned the league accolades for his performance in the James Madison victory, where he was 4-for-4 on PATs, hit his only field goal attempt and put 3-of-6 kickoffs in the end zone for touchbacks... Led the Big South with 83 points and ranked second in the league and 35th in the nation in scoring at 7.55 points per game... His 83 points rank second on the Big South single-season chart for kickers... Was 53-for-54 on point-after-attempts and 10-for-14 on field goals... Against the Tigers, he was a perfect 3-for-3 on PATs and hit field goals of 24 and 40 yards, while putting five of six kickoffs into the endzone and averaging 39.3 yards per punt... Averaged 37.4 yards per punt for the season, hitting 12 inside the opponent's 20-yard line... Hit his long of 57 yards in the opener against Newberry and recorded five punts of more than 50 yards...
