Prior to Coastal Carolina: Named Class AAA All-State by High School Sports Report and SCVarsity.com after leading Blythewood, in just its first season of play, to the Class AAA State title ... Recorded 158 tackles (93 solo) 16 tackles for loss, a sack, five pass breakups, four quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and blocked a kick to also earn All-Area honors from The State as well as All-Region honors ... Played his first three years at Ridge View High School before the school split ... Also lettered in track (Blythewood) and basketball (Ridge View) during his career ...Named to the Honor Roll and Who's Who ... Also earned the Urban League Athletic and Leadership Award.
