2008: Picked up his first collegiate letter after playing in all 12 games for Coastal Carolina as a true freshman... Had 10 receptions for 112 yards and one touchdown on the year... Had three catches for 31 yards against Stony Brook... Had his first collegiate touchdown, an 8-yard grab, in the win at Presbyterian... Practiced during the 2008 spring semester with the Chanticleers... Became the Big South Conference's long jump champion while also qualifying for the NCAA East Regionals in the long jump in the spring semester...

Prior to Coastal Carolina: Spent one year at Fork Union Military Academy, where he was the team's leading receiver with 17 catches for 500 yards and seven touchdowns before graduating in May 2007...

High School: Graduated from West Ashley in 2006... Was the Charleston Post and Courier's High School Male Athlete of the Year and the South Carolina Football Coaches' Association Lower State Back of the Year in 2005 after his senior season... Recorded 58 receptions for 1,062 yards and five touchdowns his senior year and was invited to play in the 2005 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas... As a senior was ranked the No. 22 prospect in South Carolina by The State and No. 31 by the Herald-Journal... Named High School Sports Report Class AAAA All-State at wide receiver as a junior... Was the 2005 and 2006 Class 4A State Champion in the long jump and 2005 State Champion in the triple jump... Was a Nike All-American for Track in 2005 and 2006, finishing in third in the triple jump twice and long jump once at the meet... Selected to compete in track at the 2006 Caribbean Scholastic Invitational, where he won the long jump... Holds the West Ashley school records in the long jump, high jump and triple jump... Only started competing in both sports his junior year... Has personal bests in high school of 24'6" in the long jump, 49'10" in the triple jump and 6'8" in the high jump... Originally recruited by South Carolina prior to going to Fork Union...
