2005: Played nine games during his junior year, starting in two... Had 31 tackles for the year, eight of them solo... His season high was during Mansfield win with seven tackles, including three solos... Helped CCU defeat Savannah State on the road with six tackles, including one sack for 12 yards... Had five tackles each at Appalachian State, versus Gardner-Webb and at Charleston Southern... Also had one fumble recovery for the season against VMI...

2004: Returned from injury to play all 11 games, eight of them as a starter, and help CCU to its first Big South title... Recorded 48 tackles on the year, fifth most on the squad... Added three tackles for loss, one sack and a pair of interceptions... Had a season-high seven tackles against both VMI and Charleston Southern... Also picked off a pass and returned it 51 yards for his first collegiate touchdown in the win at VMI...

2003: Started two of the first three games before getting injured in the game at Jacksonville, earning a letter... Still recorded 17 total tackles, 12 of them solo, in the three games... Had six tackles and an interception in the inaugural game win over Newberry... Added six more tackles against Morehead State and five at Jacksonville...

High School: A four-year letterwinner, playing both linebacker and wide receiver at South Stanly... A preseason All-State selection as a senior, he recorded a school record for a single-season with 178 tackles and had 24 catches for 510 yards... Named First Team All-Conference at wide receiver twice, including a career-best 41 catches for 891 yards in his junior year... Recorded over 300 tackles and 2,500 yards receiving in his career...
