2011 (RFr.): Named to the 2011-12 Big South Presidential Honor Roll for posting a 3.0 GPA for the academic year ... Played in seven games, including five of the last six contests ... For the year, completed 6-of-10 passes with two touchdowns ... Added 21 rushing attempts, gaining 47 yards ... Threw his first career TD, a one-yard completion to DeMario Bennett, at Liberty ... Used his athleticism to run a "Tim Tebow" jump pass, throwing a two-yard TD to Will Middleton in the win over Charleston Southern ... Completed one pass in the VMI win, a season-long. 28-yard pass to Chris Presley.

Prior to Coastal Carolina: Selected as one of the quarterbacks for South Carolina in the 2009 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas after leading Timberland to the Lower State semifinals his senior year ... Named the 2009 Class AA Lower State Back of the Year by the High School Football Coaches Association ... Was also one of the state's 10 winners of the Wendy's High School Heisman Award ... Also honored on the Class AA All-State squad by the High School Sports Report following both his junior and senior seasons ... Rushed for more than 1,000 yards his senior season, leading the Wolves to a region title and a 12-1 mark ... Threw for over 800 yards and 10 touchdowns his junior year in a predominantly run-oriented offense while leading the Wolves to the Class AA Lower State finals ... Was 26-2 as the starting quarterback his final two seasons for the Wolves ... Will also play baseball for Head Coach Gary Gilmore's nationally-ranked squad as he is a left-handed pitcher and played various field positions ... Was a Class AAA All-State selection in baseball in 2008 and Class AA pick in 2009 by the South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association ... Ranked third in his class with a GPA of 4.57.
