2014 (So.): Tabbed first team All-Big South as he ranked 10th in the NCAA FCS and led the Big South in kick returns with a CCU-record 27.9 yards per return ... Voted the team’s Special Teams Player of the Year ... His 29 kick returns and 808 return yards were both CCU single-season records ... Added 16 receptions for 112 yards and eight rushes for 69 with a 10-yard score at Charlotte for a 21-0 lead ... Named Big South Special Teams Player of the Week in leading CCU to a win at North Carolina A&T ... With Coastal down six after a NC A&T touchdown midway through the fourth quarter, Brown returned the ensuing kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown (Alex Catron added the extra point to make the score 31-30, which proved to be the final score) ... The 99-yard return marked the longest touchdown play in Coastal Carolina history and the third-longest in Big South history, preceded by only two 100-yard kick returns in the league ... Also had a 98-yard kick return at North Dakota State in the NCAA FCS quarterfinal ... After CCU went down 17-10, Brown returned the ensuing kickoff 98 yards to tie the game with 7:53 left in the second quarter ... 2013 (RFr.): Named second team Freshman All-American by College Sports Journal and first team All-Big South as a kick returner ... Coastal's first Freshman All-American for football ... Ranked 35th in the NCAA FCS and second in the conference in kick returns (24.3 yards per return) ... Took over as Coastal's kick returner midway through the year but still set a CCU single-season record with 632 kick return yards while his 26 kick returns ranks second on the school's single-season list ... Named Big South Special Teams Player of the Week and CFPA National Kick Returner of the Week thanks to a 95-yard kick return versus VMI ... Became the third Chanticleer to return a kick for a touchdown and it marked the longest scoring play in school history ... Finished the game versus the Keydets with five kick returns for 169 total yards -- second on the CCU single-game list ... Also named the team's Special Teams MVP for the VMI game as well as Charlotte game the following week Brown had two kick returns for 87 yards witha 50-yard return ... Closed the regular season with returns of 26, 24 and 21 yards versus South Carolina ... Added a 42-yard return at Montana in the second round of the NCAA playoffs ... Added six receptions for 56 yards, including three catches for 25 yards at Elon.
