CCU & Winthrop Battle to be Televised

ROCK HILL, SC — The Big South Conference’s fourth regular season men’s basketball television game will air Monday (Feb. 18) night at 9:00 p.m. on the newly formed Big South Television Network (BSTN). Winthrop, the defending Big South champion, will play host to Coastal Carolina, at the Winthrop Coliseum.

Monday night’s game is part of the Big South’s “Twine at Nine” package. It will be the eighth game overall and final Monday night television game. In addition to the regular season games, both the men’s and women’s tournament semifinals, and the women’s championship will air on the BSTN.

The Winthrop-Coastal Carolina game will tip-off at 9:00 p.m. EST on the following affiliates: Horry Telephone Cooperative, Channel 4 (Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Conway, S.C.); Time Warner - Myrtle Beach, Channel 5 (entire Myrtle Beach area), Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (Asheville, N.C.; Birmingham, Ala.; Charleston, S.C.); Rock Hill Cable, Channel 21 (Rock Hill, S.C.); and on WXIV-TV (Greensboro, N.C.; Danville, Va.).

The game will also be available to fans with a satellite dish. The satellite coordinates for Monday’s game are: KU Band, Galaxy Eleven, Transponder 16.
