1,000 POINT CLUB
Senior guard Anthony Raffa eclipsed the 1,000 point mark at Coastal with a 26-point performance against Johnson & Wales. He needed just 14 points heading into the game and it took him just 9:40 to reach the 1,000 point milestone. He is now the 17th CCU player to reach mark. Raffa had already eclipsed 1,000 points for his college career heading into the 2012-13 season with his 271 points at Albany combined with his total at Coastal. He now has 1,283 points in his college career and 1,012 in a Coastal uniform.
Kierre Greenwood is approaching the 1,000 point scoring mark at Coastal Carolina as well. He could become the 18th CCU player to reach the milestone. Greenwood currently has 890 career points and needs 110 more to join the elite group of Chanticleers who have eclipsed the 1,000 point mark.
