ABOUT JOHNSON & WALES
The Wildcats opened the season with three straight losses before picking up an overtime win on the road at Barber-Scotia. JWU has since lost four straight and have a game at Randolph Monday night before heading to Conway. Junior Jay Keller has led the team in scoring three of the last four games including dropping 20 points in a loss to Southern Virginia.

THE SERIES
Coastal Carolina and Johnson & Wales have never met on the basketball court. The Chants take on four new opponents this season including Ole Miss, Toccoa Falls, Johnson & Wales and Greensboro College.

JUST THE TWO OF US
Head Coach Cliff Ellis became just the second coach in NCAA Division I history to win 100 or more games at four different institutions with a win over Akron earlier this season. Coach Ellis has won 100 or more games at South Alabama (171), Clemson (177), Auburn (186) and Coastal Carolina (100). He joined Lefty Driesell who won 100 or more games at Davidson (176), Maryland (348), James Madison (159) and Georgia State (103).

ON THIS DATE
Coastal Carolina is 2-3 in games played on Nov. 20. The Chants have lost three straight games on Nov. 20 including a 117-78 loss at then-#25 Virginia in 2000, a 88-84 loss at home against Jacksonville in 1999 and a 55-54 loss at home to Francis Marion in 1982. Coastal's only wins on Nov. 20 came in 1981 against Belmont Abbey in a neutral site tournament, 65-64, and in 1976 against Claflin at home, 114-81.

CLIMBING THE CHARTS
Kierre Greenwood is now fifth on the Coastal Carolina career assists list with 377.

Coastal Carolina Career Assists List
1. Robert Dowdell (1987-91)             561
4. Alvin Green (2000-05)                   411
5. Kierre Greenwood                         377

1,000 POINT CLUB
Senior guards Anthony Raffa and Kierre Greenwood are both approaching the 1,000 point scoring mark at Coastal Carolina. They could become the 17th and 18th CCU players to reach that milestone.  Raffa has already eclipsed 1,000 points for his college career with his 271 points at Albany and 986 at Coastal. He needs just 14 more points to have 1,000 points in a Coastal uniform. Greenwood currently has 885 career points and needs 115 more to join the elite group of Chanticleers who have eclipsed the 1,000 point mark.
