CONWAY - As we count down to tipoff each day GoCCUSports.com will profile the lighter side of the Chanticleer Basketball teams. Our first two student-athletes to be profiled are Warren Gillis and AJ Jordan.

Warren Gillis

1. What is your personal goal for this season? Win the Big South Tournament.
2. What got you started in basketball?
Started as something to do outside.
3. What is your plan after college, if you do not become a professional athlete? I plan to be a coach basketball.
4. Where is your hometown? Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
5. What motivates you on the court? My hatred for losing.
6. How do you help the team stay focused during the season? Continue to find way to get better everday.
7. Who is your role model? My father.
8. What would you say to your biggest fan? I appreciate the support.
9. Do you have a motto or saying you live your life by? Hakuna Matata.
10. What is your biggest pet-peeve? People who complain all the time.
11. What is your favorite pre-game meal? Chicken parmesan.
12. Do you have any superstitions? No.
13. What teams are you most excited to play this year? All of our conference games.
14. What is your most favorite moment in your basketball career? Anytime Coastal Carolina wins.
15. If you could be an animal what would you be? A lion.

AJ Jordan

1. What is your personal goal for the season?  Make my teammates better.
2. What got you started in basketball? I wanted to be like my big brother.
3. What is your plan after college, if you do not become a professional athlete? Find a rewarding career within my major.
4. Where is your hometown? Coalfield, Tennessee.
5. What motivates you on the court? The will to win.
6. How do you keep the team focused during the season? Be encouraging and be focused myself.
7. Who is your role model? Kobe Bryant or Ellen.
8. What would you say to your biggest fan? I appreciate your support.
9. Do you have a motto or saying you live your life by? Believe and you can make it happen.
10. What is your biggest pet-peeve? Loud noises.
11. What is your favorite pre-game meal? Chicken alfredo.
12. Do you have any superstitions? Nope.
13. What teams are you most excited to play this year? Liberty.
14. What is your most favorite moment in your basketball career? Sinking two free throws to be put out a rival team my senior year of high school.
15. If you could be an animal what would you be?  An alligator or crocodile.
