Men's Basketball Opens In 22 Days

Men Hold Sixth Practice of Season

CONWAY - Cliff Ellis and the Coastal Carolina men's basketball team took to the court in Kimbel Arena Wednesday afternoon for the sixth official practice of the season.

"Everyone is working really hard; we have a lot of guys coming back from injuries, but I am proud of how the team is approaching every practice," said Ellis, who is in his fifth year at the helm.

The Chanticleers are coming off a school-record 28 wins and a Big South Conference record of 16 that led the team to its second consecutive Big South regular season championship.

The team is only 22 days away from the opening game against Covenant College at Kimbel Arena on Friday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m.
