PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University men’s basketball players and coaches participated in the new playground dedication at the Pawleys Island Child Development Center on Wednesday morning. The dedication was part of the Georgetown County First Steps Partnership and coincided with the Cliff and Carolyn Ellis Foundation.
The Chanticleer coaching staff, along with redshirt sophomore Jon Pack, helped First Steps of Georgetown County in the dedication. The Mission of First Steps of Georgetown County is to prepare preschoolers to reach first grade healthy and ready to succeed. The Georgetown County First Steps Partnership provides both direct services about resources to children, families, and daycare centers.
