Last game: The only other time these two schools have met was Dec. 15, 2001 at Old Dominion... The Monacrchs defeated the Chanticleers 81-67 in Norfolk, Va.
COASTAL IN THE POST SEASON
Tuesday marks the third consecutive year that Coastal has received a post season bid... The Chants have been to four previous post season tournaments while making its first appearance in the CIT.

WHAT'S ON THE LINE
A Coastal win would give the Chants their third consecutive 20-win season for the first time in school history... Also, Coach Ellis would become only the second coach (Lefty Driesell, five schools) in NCAA history to record 100 or more wins at four or more Division I programs (South Alabama 171, Clemson 177, Auburn 186 and CCU 99)... Ellis is currently one of 10 coaches to reach 100 or more wins at three schools... He currently holds a 99-59 record at CCU.
ABOUT OLD DOMINION
Old Dominion has won 20 or more games in seven of the last eight seasons... This is the eighth straight post season tournament including its second in the CIT... The Monarchs won the CIT in 2009 with a 66-62 victory over Bradley... ODU is led by two-time CAA Defensive Player of the Year Kent Bazemore who is averaging 15.4 points per game, 2.06 steals per outing and 104 dimes in 33 games this year... Chris Cooper leads the team with 10.2 rebounds and 41 blocked shots... As a team, ODU is ranked 31st nationally in field goal percentage defense (40.0), 47th in scoring defense (61.0), 24th in rebound margin (+5.9) and 11th in steals at 8.8.
