Coastal Carolina senior guard Kierre Greenwood became the 22nd player in Big South history with 400 career helpers on Dec. 13 as he dished out eight assists against Toccoa Falls to give himself 403 for his career. He became the third Chanticleer to make the conference's all-time list, joining Robert Dowdell (561 from 1987-91) and Alvin Green (411 from 2000-05). He now has 444 career assists. Greenwood is now 16th all-time in the Big South in assists and needs just four more to move past Liberty's Matt Hildebrand (447 from 1991-94) for 15th.
1,000 POINT CLUB
Senior guard Anthony Raffa eclipsed the 1,000-point mark at Coastal with a 26-point performance against Johnson & Wales. He needed just 14 points heading into the game and it took him just 9:40 to reach the 1,000-point milestone. He is now the 17th CCU player to reach the mark. Raffa had already eclipsed 1,000 points for his college career heading into the 2012-13 season with his 271 points at Albany combined with his total at Coastal. He now has 1,534 points in his college career and 1,263 in a Coastal uniform.

STEALING THE SHOW
Coastal ranks second in the Big South and 20th in the NCAA in steals per game with 9.3. Four players are ranked in the top-15 in steals per game in the Big South including third-ranked Anthony Raffa, fifth-ranked Kierre Greenwood, eighth-ranked Warren Gillis and 15th-ranked Michel Enanga.
DOUBLE THE FUN
For just the fourth time in program history, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers have two 1,000-point scorers on the same team. The first occurrence was during the 1987-88 season when William Calvin and Derek Wilson played the final four games of the season when both had 1,000 or more career points. During the 1990-91 season the Chants played seven games with three 1,000-point scorers including Brian Penny, Robert Dowdell and DuWayne Cheatam. Near the end of the 2006-07 season Jack Leasure and Moses Sonko played 11 games together after both hitting the 1,000-point milestone. Seniors Kierre Greenwood and Anthony Raffa have played five games together as 1,000-point scorers and have the potential to be the longest running duo of 1,000-point scorers in CCU history. Robert Dowdell and Brian Penny currently hold the record at 14 games.
