CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina baseball ended its nine-game road swing Tuesday at Clemson and will embark on a four-game home stand starting Thursday versus Presbyterian College with first pitch set for Noon at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. The Chanticleers and Blue Hose will also square off on Friday and Saturday with those games starting at Noon as well.

Coastal Carolina owns a 12-2 advantage in the all-time series versus Presbyterian, inclusing a 5-0 mark in home games.

Coastal Outlasts PC 1-0 In Series Clinching Victory
Coastal Carolina scored a run in the second and pitchers Tyler Poole, Austin Kerr and Ryan Connolly combined to strikeout 11 as the Chanticleers took the rubber match from Presbyterian College, 1-0, on a soggy Saturday afternoon in Clinton.

Coastal Carolina head coach Gary Gilmore will make his second attempt at winning career game 1,000 on Thursday. Gilmore is 999-489-2 in his 25th year as a head coach, including a 746-387 mark in 19 years as Coastal’s skipper and a 253-102-2 record in six years at USC Aiken.

The final game of the home stand will be Tuesday (April 22) versus College of Charleston at 6 pm. Following the College of Charleston contest, Coastal will play an 11 straight games on the road before ending the regular season with a three-game series versus Campbell (May 15-17).
