Coastal Carolina Announces Spring Sports Video Streaming Schedule

A total of 43 regular-sesaon games and every game of the Big South Tournament will be streamed on the Big South Network.

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University baseball and softball teams will have 43 regular-season games video streamed on the Big South Network, it was announced today.  The entire Big South Softball Tournament also will be broadcast on the Big South’s video streaming service.


Baseball’s season opener against West Virginia Feb. 19 is one of 26 home games to be video streamed on the Big South Network.  The schedule includes contests against Kentucky, Illinois and Michigan and the entire three-game series against San Diego.  The Big South Network also will have conference series against Presbyterian, High Point, UNC Asheville and Winthrop as well as midweek games against Wake Forest, UNC Wilmington, The Citadel and the College of Charleston.  The Pittsburgh game for the Caravelle Resort Invitational might not be broadcast if Coastal hosts the 2010 Big South Men’s Basketball Championships.


Softball’s 17-game broadcast schedule begins with the home opener against DePaul Feb. 26.  The schedule includes three-game series against Radford and Presbyterian, a Big South doubleheader against Charleston Southern and games in the Kickin’ Chicken Classic and the Coastal Carolina Classic.  Also, every game of the 2010 Big South Softball Tournament in Conway, S.C., will be video streamed.
