2015 (Jr.): Named to the Big South All-Academic team after posting a 3.6 GPA in business management … Ranked third on the team with a .303 batting average … Also ranked third on the squad with a .418 on base percentage and having six game-winning RBI … After leading the team with 25 walks in 2014, ranked ninth in the Big South with 30 walks in 2015 … Had a hit in 16 of the last 20 games, including seven two-hit games and batted .333 (23-for-69) over the span … Had a Big South tournament-best .545 batting average (6-for-11) with three RBI and two runs scored ... Was 2-for-4 with an RBI in game one of the tournament, 1-for-1 in game 2, 2-for-3 in game 3 and 1-for-3 with two RBI in title game … Was 3-for-10 (two doubles and a home run) with two RBI at the NCAA Regional … Reached base safely in 47 of 56 games played. … In the North Carolina win, had two RBI the hard way ... On two occasions with the bases loaded each time, Chadwick was hit by a pitch to force home runs … Went 5-for-9 versus Clemson and in the first two games at UNC Asheville with four runs scored and four RBI ... Hit a solo home run versus Clemson after David Parrett’s grand slam for CCU’s first back-to-back home runs since the end of 2011 … Was 5-for-7 in the first two Winthrop games (3-for-4 and 2-for-3) with two doubles and a home run … Went 2-for-4 with a game-tying, two-run single at Wake Forest (made score 4-4) ... Added a double and run in the eighth inning of the win at WFU … Drove in three, going 2-for-3 with two walks, in a win versus Toledo and, going 2-for-5 with a home run, in game two of the Presbyterian series … Had a season-high three hits (3-for04 with two doubles) in the Winthrop series opener.
2014 (So.): Named to the Big South All-Academic team after posting a 3.54 grade point average in business management ... Played out of position in 2014, getting 42 starts at catcher, due to injuries to other CCU catchers ... An iron man for the Chanticleers, starting at catcher in 32 of the last 33 games, but played catcher in all 33 ... Caught 290.2 of Coastal's last 302.2 innings ... However, batted .302 over the span (39-for-129) with a team-best 23 RBI and a team-best 23 walks ... Overall, ranked second on the team with a .299 batting average, but posted a .307 mark in league games ... Tied for second on the team with 32 RBI and led the team in walks (25) ... Had a team-best 19 RBI in league play and led the team with 17 two-out RBI for the season, batting .354 with runners in scoring position ... Tied a CCU single-game record with five walks at North Carolina (added three the next game at Radford) ... At UNC, after drawing walks in his first five at bats, got a key hit in his sixth at bat, putting runners on the corners with one out to set up the game-winning safety squeeze bunt on the next play.
2013 (Fr.): Started 12 of the 18 games he played ... Posted a .333 batting average (13-for-39) ... Drove in seven ... Of his seven RBI - and having opportunities, five came with a runner on third and less than two out ... In his collegiate debut, went 2-for-5 with an RBI double ... Also had two hits (2-for-4) in a win over Akron, adding an RBI and run scored ... Was 4-for-10 (.400) in the Liberty series, getting a hit in each game ... Was 2-for-3 in game three versus the Flames with two runs scored and two RBI ... Summer 2013: Ranked the sixth-best prospect of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League by PerfectGame.org ... Was an All-Star in the League, playing for the Ballantyne Smokies ... Led the league in runs scored (25) and stolen bases (13), while ranking second in batting average (.349) and on-base percentage (.467).
Prior to Coastal Carolina: Tabbed 3A All-State by the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association ... Named Southern Carolina Conference 3A Player of the Year ... Voted his team's MVP ... As a junior, was 5-3 on the mound with 64 strikeouts and a 1.54 ERA ... Also named All-Southern Carolina Conference as a quarterback.
